ARCADION worked directly with the onshore Nexen Project Engineers and the offshore Buzzard catering team to upgrade the existing mess servery counter, laundry and galley to increase operating capacity in line with the planned POB increase following up-man of Buzzard’s ALQ in September 2013.
The project included the provision of mess and galley temporary services to minimise the impact on food service operations during each upgrade, the installation of a bespoke servery counter, modifications to the existing ceiling pelmet and the addition of a bespoke feature wall. In addition, new catering equipment was supplied and installed and the extraction system modified. The fire suppression systems were also upgraded to accommodate the new arrangement.
