Type of project: Fruit & Vegetable Store Refrigeration System Replacement

This project scope involved the replacement of the refrigeration system and servicing the walk-in Fruit & Vegetable Store onboard the Scott platform following recommendations by the visiting ARCADION Maintenance Refrigeration Technician.

The external plant was found to be in a poor condition as a result of prolonged exposure to the marine environment and unable to retain a controlled temperature within the room in line with health & safety recommendations, and affecting the lifespan and condition of the contents.

Our in-house Refrigeration Design Team compiled the relevant information and specified the required plant to meet the agreed area classification, available power supplies and services for approval.

The installation and commissioning of the new indoor evaporator, external condensing unit and replacement of the interconnecting pipework was successfully carried out and completed within the estimated timescales by the ARCADION Refrigeration Team.
