We were awarded the Gannet platform upgrade contract as Shell wanted to feature our patented 2+1 Interlocking Bed Systems in their cabins to provide a permanent increase to available beds on the platform.

There was a significant period of design and planning to work out the best way to carry out these works with least disruption to the platform and their POB. The comprehensive workscope also included new bespoke cabin furniture and finishes. The opportunity was taken to upgrade lighting, smoke heads and hot & cold water pipework as part of the workscope and Sky+ HD was also installed in every cabin and newly refurbished recreational areas, including the gym.

Due to the significant upfront planning, once mobilised to site, the job progressed smoothly and came in ahead of schedule and on budget.
