The ARCADION team are gearing up and looking forward to our 4th Offshore Europe and this year's event is looking to be our best ever!

During the course of the 4 days the team will be there to meet and greet you and discuss our wide portfolio of Offshore Accommodation Solutions.  We'll have our patented 2+1 Interlocking Bed System on display and be promoting our working partnerships with Jeitek and SKY.  We're also delighted to have a select number of Design and Technology pupils from our partner school, Aboyne Academy, on the ARCADION stand who have been working with us to design the wall graphics for this years show.  The pupils have worked hard on the project and developed some fantastic visual effects which you will see at the event.

In addition to this we will have Home Economic pupils working with the Aramark Catering team on adjoining stand 4E141 serving up some very tasty food samples for our visitors. 

ARCADION are immensely proud to support the Curriculum for Excellence in this way and bring the next generation of talent to Offshore Europe 2013.

Pupils and teachers of Aboyne Academy got on their bikes to tackle an adventurous mountain route from the west coast back to Aboyne recently. ARCADION supported their challenge by providing one of our vans to transport their equipment, tents and supplies throughout their trip.

Malcolm MacIntyre, Depute Rector, said "It really made a massive difference to the trip as it meant we could offer the pupils a much higher level of support and allowed them to complete the route without having to carry camping equipment with them"

They plan to do it all again next year and have already invited the ARCADION team to come along and join them!

Building on our business partnership with Kemnay Academy we were delighted to support their 2013 Be your Best Rock Challenge performance in the Scottish finals held in Dundee on 14th June.  The pupils performance "Mtoto Askari Africa" told the story of two gap year students who travel to Africa and find themselves seized, poisoned and turned into young soldiers.  

ARCADION contributed by providing transport for the set and coaches for the pupils and teachers to get down to the finals and also provided stage make up and refreshments for all those attending the event. 

Rachel Mackie, one of those attending said "Everyone involved in Kemnay Academy's Rock Challenge greatly appreciates the huge donations that we have received from ARCADION. Knowing that we have been sponsored has ensured that the pupils and staff could concentrate on practising and working on new routines and set instead of worrying about fundraising. Being part of Rock Challenge is like being part of a family. It gives you confidence and brings people closer together. We thank you again for helping us out with this".

As Business Partner to Aboyne Academy ARCADION are delighted to be celebrating the hard work of Aboyne Academy pupils through the donation of four Achievement Awards.  This years award ceremony saw the following pupils being recognised  - Ericka Brown (S5) for Business Management, Thomas Mitchell (S4) for Design and Technology and Rory Beaton (S6) and Alex Day (S6) for Outstanding Individual Achievement.  ARCADION would like to congratulate all the pupils who received awards and look forward to working with the faculty and pupils in the coming year.
